Hello there! I'm Jack and I've been a CPA since 1984. From 1984 to 1990 I worked for Leonard G. Birnbaum & Co. This is a national CPA firm that specializes in government accounting. For the next 6 years, I practiced as a sole practitioner in Richland, WA. Since I moved to Atlanta, I've worked for two CPA firms. These were Pecter and Associates and Joe W. Kilpatrick, CPA.

Summer is over.  Temperature is falling and leaves on the trees are turning brown.

We've been studying all of the tax law changes.  Also, we're gearing up for e-filing next tax season.

We're almost finished with our web page on Accounting Advice.  One of the big frustrations about the web for me is that while there a thousand sites for a search on a topic like this there are few if any that will actually help you. Most require you to buy things. Others just give titles of the standards. I plan to adapt the materials I developed for a training seminar for a local accountant's staff and use that as the basis for a web page. I'm sure that these sites will be a helpful addition to your web experience.
